Hospitality Practice Group

 

The Busch Firm has an experienced hospitality practice team that assists clients in all aspects of the hotel industry. Our services include site acquisition (both purchases and long-term leases); project development; advising and assisting in connection with entitlements for new hotel construction projects; and redevelopment of existing projects, including mixed use. We also assist in negotiating financing for site acquisition, construction and refinancing. The Firm has developed relationships with institutional and non-traditional financing sources for hospitality projects.

The Firm’s hospitality attorneys also have experience working with national hotel brands in negotiating license and/or franchise agreements. We negotiate and document management relationships including management agreements. Our attorneys assist clients in the sale of existing properties, including purchase and sale documentation, due diligence, compliance with property improvement plan requirements, and review of outstanding licensing or management agreement issues to maximize the value to our clients.

The Firm’s services also includes assistance in raising capital and arranging and structuring joint ventures and complex financing structures to allow your project to proceed. We have experience working with cities and redevelopment agencies concerning rebates and incentives, including transient occupancy tax rebate programs and incentives.
